Passed away peacefully around 4am on Friday July 18th at the hospice in Huddersfield after a long battle with cancer.

Much loved daughter of Kenneth and the late Shirley Braithwaite, sister to Janette and Neil, wife of over 40 years to Mark, devoted mother to Heather and Richard, grandma to Isla, and a very dear friend to so many.

I remember Elaine from our days at Hereford School during the first half of the 1970's - we were in the same set for most lessons. Although I haven't seen her since then, it's still a shock to hear of this sad occasion, and my heart goes out to her family.
